You don’t need a rotisserie cooker, a fancy grill, or a rotisserie spit to make amazing roasted chicken. It can be much better than rotisserie chicken from Costco, Sam’s Club, or any grocery store. The best rotisserie chicken recipe requires just a few spices, a chicken, and an oven (or a crockpot).
I’ve perfected a dry rub for rotisserie chicken. You can make it in large batches to use whenever you need it. Cook a chicken (or two) on the weekend to enjoy throughout the week. You can even bring one to your mom or your neighbors who just had a baby.
